Open call for residencies – The 1st “Sea, Salt and Heritage Venture” Summer 2023 – Anfeh, Lebanon

Multidisciplinary residencies for artists and academics to explore and celebrate a vibrant coastal community through audiovisual artwork and documentation.

In order to increase the links between research and art creativity, GAIA-heritage is soliciting proposals for two residencies in Anfeh, Lebanon. The Sea, Salt and Heritage Venture will welcome two artists and/or academics and support them in the process of creating and disseminating their creative project. The Venture will cover a 15 days accommodation in Anfeh, as well as additional expenses up to 650 USD. Applicants are expected to submit a proposal for paintings and/or documentations. The two selected creative projects will be disseminated in Lebanon and in Europe through the TExTOUR platform.

Deadline to submit: July 17, 2023, no later than 11 a.m.
