Management and Economics of Cultural and Natural Heritage

Reykjavik Historic Centre (27-29 March 2008)

The Archaeological Heritage Agency and the National Architectural Heritage Board of Iceland have invited to Reykjavik Georges Zouain for a consultancy on the protection and revitalization of the Historic Centre of the Icelandic capital. During his two days stay in the city, Georges visited the historic quarters and gave interviews to the radio, TV and newspaper of the country. He concluded his visit by a conference at the National Museum of Iceland during which he addressed the issues of the economic role of heritage and gave examples of urban centres revitalization.
